Crocker Historical Document Collection of the Lincoln Savings and Loan Association<br>. Issued in 1979 by Sotheby Parke Bernet of New York, it contains 349 lots of American autographs, documents, photographs and ephemera (from Colonial American period to the Civil War, American Presidents, historic personalities and Literary, Scientific and Musical personalities).<br>Roy P. Crocker had a philanthropist and had a lifelong love of American History. Professionally he worked in the financial services industry. From 1941, until his retirement in 1969, Crocker served as Director and President of Southern California’s Lincoln Savings and Loan. From 1966 to 1970 shared his love of history, and many of the items found in this catalog, with the public through the Abraham Lincoln Historical Center in Sherman Oaks, CA. Sherman Oaks is located in the San Fernando Valley.<br>The catalog is in<br>very good condition<br>. There is some minor wear and marks, but nothing that distracts. Will make a wonderful reference for early American autographs or for people who remember visiting the collection when it was on display and open to the public.
